Frequently asked questions

Welcome to the Veil Armory FAQ: where we take your most common questions, apply a light coat of gun oil, torque them to spec, and send them back with just enough honesty to make our compliance officer sweat

Yes — but not in the “we’re forging receivers in a volcano” kind of way.

We’re a licensed firearms manufacturer, which means when we take a serialized receiver, assemble a complete firearm, test it, document it, and transfer it… the ATF says that counts as manufacturing.

What we don’t do:

•  Machine receivers

•  Make our own serial numbers

•  Touch the factory serial (we treat it like a museum artifact)

What we do:

•  Assemble firearms from serialized receivers sourced through licensed channels

•  Test them

•  Document everything

•  Add a tiny builder mark for traceability

Think of us as the final boss of assembly, not the origin story of the receiver.

Yes — to other FFLs.

We follow all federal and state laws.

No exceptions, no shortcuts, no “my cousin said it’s fine.

Absolutely. Bring your parts, your receipts, and your hopes and dreams.

We’ll log everything, inspect it, and let you know if anything looks like it came from a garage sale hosted by a raccoon.

Not yet. But we know people.

Good people.

People who won’t turn your rifle into a chalky, uneven disaster.

Most builds take 2–6 weeks, depending on parts availability, testing, and complexity.

Rush jobs are possible, but bribery doesn’t help. Usually.

We guarantee process — torque specs, alignment, testing, documentation.

Accuracy depends on the platform, ammo, and the person behind the trigger.

(Yes, that means you.)

No.

But you’ll get photos, logs, and a performance report.

It’s like watching — without the safety glasses and awkward hovering.

Yes, with proper paperwork.

Bring patience.

The ATF requires it.

Unless you opt out, yes.

We prefer to verify performance before you trust your life, hunt, or match to it.

Yes — 1 year on workmanship.

Parts are covered by their respective manufacturers.

If something breaks because of our work, we fix it.

If something breaks because you tried to “tune” it with a Dremel, that’s on you.

Absolutely.

Bolt guns, AR platforms, PCCs — if it’s a quality build, we’re in.

Yes.

We’ll help you pick components that actually work together, not just look cool on Instagram.
